Should old Acquaintence

Hello all

Its once again been a long time since I last spoke to you but I've been a bit busy and couldn't get back on line.

Well Now I'm back and we roll towards the 1st of January 2007 - will it be as eventful as this year's been, with all the goings on in Iraq and across the world.

I notice that today the do-gooders of Amnesty and the other Human Rights orgainsations have been carping on about how inhuman it was to let a certain Mr Saddm Hussain dangle at the end of a rope.

It seems they forgot just how many "Human Rights" he voilated in his long and infamous lifetime. I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with them that it wasn't lawful to hang him for his crimes against humanity. Just as it the Nazis were made to pay for what they did to the jewish people in the second world war, then saddam quite rightly had to be made to account for his mis-demeanours this time around.

On rather sadder note since I last spoke to you we have lost many of our celebrities including: Jack Palance (now doing one arm pushups for the mighty one), Peter Boyle (who can forget his hugely funny rendition of "Puttin' on the Ritz from Young Frankenstein), and by no means te least of these: James Brown (The Godfather of Soul himself). All gone but not forgotten.

A more forgettable thing, however, was our utter humiliation at the hands of Shane "The Hitman" Warne and the other Aussie Cricketer's. God! What were we thinking when we went out there. It's time for a change of management I think, nd a few players who want to play for their country, rather thn theiur ego's (For this see Monty Panesar)

As I sit here Just under eight hours from Big Ben's noisy intro to the new year, I can't help but feel that may be it's time to start sorting out this old world of ours. Maybe this year the politicians should seriously consider finding a way to stop all these stupid bloody conflicts. Maybe if the almighty one could come on down and help us get rid of all these madmen and put things to right.....

Just a thought! Happy New Year Everyone
