Top Gear... Top Man

What a week it's been folks of world and once again I find myself wondering about the miracles of life the universe and all that stuff.

I don't know how on earth Richard Hammond survived that atrocious accident but he obviously has the Krypton Factor and is on his way to recovery. Get well soon Hamster we need you on Top Gear as soon as possible arguing with Jeremy and James re the cool wall and driving the flash cars and everything.

Which leads me to say this. Yes, what he was doing was dangerous and something went badly wrong. But it was "his choice" and no-one forced him into the car. It amazes me that pressure groups such as Transport 2000 say that programmes like Top Gear are for pertol heads and talk about lads being the primary audience. Have they ever watched and episode and seen how many "girls" are in the studio. Or even how many ladies drive the reasonbly priced car.

This programme has been around for a lot of years and does cover road cars as well as the more powerful production models. It is total entertainment for all who like cars and should be seen as such.

Rant over and now onto the good news. Wow What a Ryder Cup win.

Quite emotional for Darren Clarke in particular but all kudos to the men of team europe for a superb victory.

One last thing... I forgot to mention how sad I was that the Crocodile Hunter was gone from this earth. Steve Irwin was fearless and perhaps this is what led to his sad death a few weeks back. We should remember that this was his life and although we probably thought that he would go at the hands of a crocodile, he still went doing what he loved best.

So Long matey... crike, it seems we hardly got to know you and respects to Teri, Bindi, Bob and all at Australia Zoo. Keep up his work!

All for now... see you soon.

Small world... Isn't it

After a long, long time away from you all, I have returned to you from the outer reaches of the galaxy.

And what a long time is has been...

We wait with baited breath f0r the final fall of Tony B. Liar and the poor schmuck who is to follow him... God help us and all who follow.

Another season has started and I find that my team are doing a little better than last year... a win against the mighty reds left me with a grin from ear to eternity, but I dread the return as we will probably suffer their wrath. One can hope!

It never fails to amaze me that this country can punish the wrong people whilst the guilty walk away and live to offend again and again. eg: Cherie B. Liar (of whom I am no fan) gets a full investigation for playfully snapping the young prankster who made "rabbit ears" on her while taking a photo op, but the usual unnamable monsters who are constantly taking away the innocence of our children are slapped on the wrist and told they will be eligible for parole in 3 to 5. It begggars belief that this is happening far too much these days.

My solution for these "people" was given to me by an acquaintance. Place them in a room with the mothers of the people they've voilated and if the get to the other side, send them into a room full of their fathers. Then if they survive take their genitailia away and maybe then that will stop themfrom doing any more harm to youngsters.

It's saddening that our justice system is so wrong at the moment, as regards this and also that other bone of contention... Vehicular Manslaughter. Yes there are those who may be involved in an accident and take someones life in a manner that is unavoidable. It is, however, time that those who get in a car under the influence of drink or drugs and those who kill and then run for it are brought to book and given more than just a fine, disqualification and/or small sentence.

Let's throw the book at them they ready should be made to see that they can't just take a life at random and then go on as if nothing has happened. Its time for some tough love and if that means 10 years in jail and permanent removal of their licence then so be it.

If my thoughts offend any readers then I completely understand, but think carefully and ask yourself why you are offended.

Thnks for reading and till we meet again

keep flying.
